In general, all the information we collect is considered confidential. The information is never released to third parties. Third party advertisers and resellers may collect information independently. Client e-mails may be used for mass mailings if the client has 'opted-in' for newsletters. STATEMENT 1: E-MAIL INFORMATION ------------------------------- E-Mail sent to Fiends.com is considered confidential. The addresses and other information contained within the E-Mail is retained for contact purposes only. E-Mail is discarded after three months, with the exception of unresolved problems. E-Mail addresses do not become part of our database. They are not sold to third parties. Clients may 'opt-in' to recieve news from Fiends.com, otherwise they will not be subject to mass mailings. STATEMENT 2: CLIENT SPECIFIC GAME INFORMATION --------------------------------------------- Clients who join our games will submit an email address and select a name. Passwords are mailed to the client via the email address. This is the only information we gather about our clients. All other information is game oriented - ie. generated by the games being played. Client game information is restricted to on-site use. This information is not revealedto third parties. Client information may be used by the Fiends.com staff to repair, improve and maintain our games and games database. E-Mail addresses may be used by automated game functions. These functions are client requested functions. Clients should never recieve un-requested emails. Logs are maintained for the Forums and Chat rooms. These logs are held for at least three months before being discarded. They are only examined if there is a problem with the clients and their behaviour. STATEMENT 3: SALES OF FIENDS.COM SOFTWARE ------------------------------------------ Sales of Fiends.com software are handled by a third parties. Regnow and Paypal: http://www.Regnow.com http://www.Paypal.com Sales information is forwarded to Fiends.com and becomes part of our database. This data includes monetary amounts and services purchased, but does not include any institutional information. We do not record credit card, debit card, or banking information. That information is never sent to our site. It remains part of the Third Party systems. These databases are not sold or used for any purpose other than tracking purchased software and services. STATEMENT 4: USE OF COOKIES --------------------------- Our server uses cookies for tracking session information. This is the only use of cookies for Fiends.com. STATEMENT 5: OPT-IN MAILING LISTS --------------------------------- Registered players (both paying portal members and free site members) have the option of opting IN for specific mailing lists. As long as the person who registered for the email retains control of their email address, they can retrieve their password in order to logon and opt OUT of the mailing lists. We do NOT resell email addresses. STATEMENT 6: THIRD PARTY ADVERTISERS --------------------------------- We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
